Data input is the foundation of your ESG reporting. This guide will help you:

How to Enter Data

Manual Entry

  1. Navigate to Data in your project
  2. Select category (Environmental, Social, Governance)
  3. Click "Add Data"
  4. Select indicator from dropdown
  5. Enter values and units
  6. Select reporting period
  7. Add notes or evidence (optional)
  8. Click "Save"
Coming soon Bulk import options (for example, from Excel templates) and

automated data feeds are planned for future versions of the platform. :::

Data Quality Best Practices

Be Consistent

  • Use same units across periods

Data History & Versioning

View History

See all changes to a data point:

  1. Open a data entry
  2. Click "History"
  3. View timeline of changes
  4. See who made each change
  5. Compare versions

Revert Changes

If you need to undo an edit:

  1. Open data history
  2. Select previous version
  3. Click "Restore"
  4. Confirm restoration

Track Revisions

  • All edits are logged
  • Timestamps recorded
  • User attribution
  • Reason for change (if provided)

Troubleshooting

Data Not Saving

Check:

Import Failing

  • Invalid characters in numbers
  • Missing required fields

Wrong Units

Fix:

  • Edit the data entry
  • Change unit dropdown
  • Value will auto-convert (for compatible units)
  • Or re-enter value manually

Can't Find Indicator
